Love Endures
en·dure /enˈd(y)o͝or/
Verb: 1. Suffer (something painful or difficult) patiently.
Why is suffering a factor in loving? If it was the easiest act of our wills or imaginations, with no struggle or pain, love may not even require function or breath. In essence it might as well be a dead deed. It would go against its very nature.
Love is meant to last. But it needs to be a complete statement, so to speak. Say it all, or don’t say it at all.
Love is a story, with threads and themes running through it, of conflicts and resolutions, of good and evil, of past, present, and future.
Love is alive, beyond space and time.
Love secured heaven for you and me…from a cross, on the bleeding hands of an innocent carpenter and preacher from a small town so long ago. He suffered for love.
Then He rose again, to complete the statement that love is so much more. Love is forever. Love endures.
